Challenge:
The MOD aimed to rapidly declassify top secret intelligence and share it globally to counter Kremlin disinformation about the invasion of Ukraine.
Strategy:
BFBS Creative's embedded experts provided high-level strategic communications support to identify disinformation trends, declassify intelligence, and produce content with DDC that would communicate warfare like never before.
Solution:
We assembled a team of DV-cleared strategic communicators, video producers, graphic designers, and digital specialists, who began work within 24 hours of the request, achieving measurable domestic and international impact.
Since starting this project our approach to innovative communications has been reported on by The Guardian and the Washington Post amongst others.
Challenge:
SHAPE and Joint Force Command Naples needed to reach younger audiences and break out of their existing echo chamber, lacking the internal skills and facing resistance from senior leadership.
Strategy:
NATO needed to engage a younger voting audience to sustain support for its activities, especially in locations like Sardinia with anti-military sentiment, requiring effective communication beyond its echo chamber.
Solution:
BFBS Creative achieved a 84,000% increase in non-follower reach and a 124,000% increase in non-follower engagement, successfully targeting the 18-24 age bracket and doubling the channel's followers over three weeks.
Challenge:
In Cyprus, there was a need to refresh communications and remind new arrivals, spouses, and families of earthquake risks and precautions due to growing complacency.
Strategy:
BFBS Creative created a 2-3 minute explainer video for troops and a 2-minute cartoon animation (including a rap) for children to communicate earthquake safety in an engaging and informative way.
Solution:
The campaign produced high-quality videos that effectively raised awareness about earthquake threats and preparedness among British Forces Cyprus and their families.
Challenge:
RAF Employer Engagement have a remit to work with businesses big and small across the UK to promote the value of Reservists and needed digital marketing material to support this.
Strategy:
BFBS Creative created a suite of slick videos to promote real life case studies of their people. These could be used on social media as well as in real life presentations. To ensure these stories were authentic and convincing, the case studies selected targeted specific regions of the UK, as well as a range of industry sectors and covered a variety of benefits to civilian employers.
Solution:
We produced a series of localised videos telling authentic stories of people who work in the civilian world as well as being RAF Reservists.
